Account names | |
The account names list shows your external (internet) e-mail accounts. You can set up multiple accounts, which is useful when you want to get all your new mail in all accounts in one go. |

To add an e-mail account | |

Enter a name to describe the account Eg. My Yahoo account (Duplicate names are not allowed) |

Click the OK button | |
You have now created a new account. The Connection settings will appear; you need to fill in these details before you can send and receive mail. | ||
Note You do not need to add an account for Internal mail, one will appear in the E-mail screen by default. | ||

To delete an e-mail account | |

Select the account that you want to delete | |

Click the Yes button to confirm the delete | |
Note When you delete an e-mail account, the folder containing the mail archive for that account is not deleted from the system in case it is a shared account. As a user, deleting an account simply means that you won't see it any more but the e-mails from that account will remain. | ||

To rename an e-mail account | |

Tech Note Each e-mail account has an associated folder in the e-mail folder. The default folder name is the same name as the account name, but if you rename an account the folder name stays the same.
